Your voice in local governance starts here
Young people are deeply affected by council decisions on housing, transport, education, and climate yet most feel shut out of the rooms where those decisions get made. The Civic Reset series changes that.
Over five weekly online sessions, you will build real civic knowledge, practise the tools of democratic participation, and connect with other young people who care about shaping their communities.
Built for real impact.
Civic Literacy
Understand how local councils work, who your representatives are, and how decisions that affect you get made.
Practical Skills
Submit FOI requests, engage councillors, respond to consultations, and design your own civic action.
Real Advocacy
Develop campaign and public voice skills on live issues including the "Votes at 16" movement.
Digital Wellbeing
Navigate online civic spaces safely and confidently, with tools for healthy digital engagement.
