Powering inclusive civic transformation
Creative Ideation Hub (CiH) is a UK-based social enterprise building digital infrastructure and providing strategic support to power inclusive civic transformation. We believe sustainable development outcomes emerge from the synergy of technology and people-driven advocacy that influences policy and delivers real impact for communities.
About CiH
We build the tools, infrastructure, and strategy that help communities engage the public sphere, influence policy, and achieve development outcomes that work for people.
Our Mission
To power inclusive civic transformation by building the digital tools, infrastructure, and insight that drive public engagement, policy innovation, and development outcomes that work for people.
Our Vision
A future of thriving communities through inclusive, digitally driven civic engagement, data-informed innovation, and accountable, people-centered policy and service delivery.
CiH’s Integrated Model
Communities and emerging collectives hold the insight and energy for change, but often lack the tools, infrastructure, and strategic support to scale. We meet this need through four connected offerings:
-
1. CiH Civic Solutions Lab
Champions a tech-first approach to civic innovation, designing tools and systems that shift power, expand participation, resource the civic ecosystem, and unlock participatory development. CitizensNgage is a flagship initiative from the Civic Solutions Lab.
-
2. CiH Academy
Equips grassroots civic actors with the skills, tools, and networks to drive local impact. We strengthen operational capacity of civic organizations, bridge digital skill gaps for public engagement, and support movement building around locally rooted issues.
-
3. Fiscal Hosting
Supports sustainability of grassroots initiatives with trusted fund management infrastructure, especially for groups lacking formal registration or operational capacity. We reduce admin barriers so local actors can focus on delivering impact.
-
4. Research & Advisory
Turns community insight into evidence-based guidance for civic tech, engagement, and development policy. We work with system actors to close gaps in participation, digital inclusion, and governance—shaping more equitable, responsive, and locally grounded civic systems.
