Creative Ideation Hub (CiH) is a UK-based social enterprise building digital infrastructure and providing strategic support to power inclusive civic transformation. CiH's Integrated Model
We address a critical gap: while communities, informal networks, and emerging collectives hold the insight and energy for change, they often lack the tools, infrastructure, and strategic support to scale their efforts. We meet this need through four interconnected offerings:
CiH Civic Solutions Lab
Champions a tech-first approach to civic innovation, designing tools and systems that shift power, expand participation, resource the civic ecosystem, and unlock new approaches to participatory development. CitizensNgage is a flagship initiative from the Civic Solutions Lab.
CiH Academy
Equips grassroots civic actors with the skills, tools, and networks to drive local impact. We strengthen operational and structural capacity of civic organizations, bridge digital skill gaps for engagement in the public sphere, and support movement building around locally rooted issues.
Innovation Fund
Supports grassroots civic actors to test and scale solutions rooted in lived experience. By combining seed funding with institutional and operational support, the Fund helps community-led ideas move from concept to action and grow what works.
Research & Advisory
Turns community insight into evidence-based guidance for civic tech, engagement, and development policy. We work with system actors to address gaps in participation, digital inclusion, and governance, shaping more equitable, responsive, and locally grounded civic systems.
